Tricolores in Concert Tilburg
‘Tricolores’ was a unique concept of a stadium concert with more than 45,000 spectators. Central element was the 40-people Guus Meeuwis Orchestra playing a specially composed medley during which various Dutch artists like Gerard Joling, Rowwen Hèze, Belle Perez, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Guus Meeuwis could perform their biggest hits. THE PRODUCTION FACTORY was responsible for the complete facilities of the concert, which we planned in advance with CAD drawings, and we fashion 3D models of the stages to previsualize the show settings. This made it possible to place all constructions with front and back stages and other extensions in the Willem II stadium in Tilburg without constructional hiccups.
Moreover, THE PRODUCTION FACTORY provided for Tricolores the complete technical production service and logistics, including budgeting, during preparation and execution, for lighting, sound, video, rigging, stages, tents, barriers and more. A big part was the realization of the show’s eycatcher, the creative design of stage and lighting: A backdrop of 120 ft width, comprising of many fields of different grey colors, and four icons with stars.
THE PRODUCTION FACTORY was also responsible – during preparation and the Tricolores show – for the stage management, including all the technical and logistical challenges posed by the line-up’s technical riders.
