We at THE PRODUCTION FACTORY in the mean time are specialists for everything that has do with swimming and drifting equipment, and each year we get various chances to prove it.
There is, for example, the traditional annual ‘Slotconcert’, a classic open air concert held each year on May 5th at the end of Liberation Day on the Amstel in Amsterdam, adjacent to the royal theater Carré. The Dutch Queen and Prime Minister are amongst the spectators. The planning and carrying out of all technical disciplines is done by THE PRODUCTION FACTORY since 1995.
Or take The Hague with its ‚Festival Classique’, a free open air concert held on The Hague's Hofvijver pond, held for the first time in 2007 and since that time every year. It was the first classical festival of its kind and size in the Netherlands and as such part of the ’The Hague Festivals’, with which the Dutch city is aiming to profile itself as the international capital of justice and peace in the years to come. Here also, THE PRODUCTION FACTORY is responsible for all of the technical planning, co-ordination and production.
And then there is the ‘Sneker Simmer’ festival in The Netherlands’ Sneek, during which on a drifting stage on the river Kolk, the Northern Dutch Orchestra performed a big classic concert. THE PRODUCTION FACTORY was contracted to translate all creative ideas into a feasible technical concept – including drifting pontons, staging, lighting, and in some instances video and decoration.
